The breakfast was superb, and the traditional room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The hot spring water was so revitalizing, and the location was excellent, right in the middle of the town and only a short distance from the tourist attractions.
There was construction nearby, and the odor from the site lingered inside the public areas and corridors of the hotel. some restaurants were closed in the area and finding alternatives was a bit of a struggle.

We had a fantastic business trip, staying in a centrally located hotel near the bus stop and mountain attractions. The staff were kind and helpful before our departure, ensuring we had thorough directions and information on nearby visiting sights. We loved the traditional Japanese style room and enjoyed the onsen facilities, which included indoor and outdoor hot springs. We savoured the delicious Japanese breakfast and admired the scenic balcony views of the mountain.
We experienced difficulty understanding the air-conditioning instructions and there were no English translations, but this was only a minor inconvenience.

The hot spring bath quality was first class, with healing effects for joint and muscle pains. Impressive service and a classical Japanese onsen experience. Trouble-free check-in and introduction. Comfortable rooms and accommodating staff. Substantial and satisfying dinner and breakfast. Historical charm and value for money.

We had an amazing stay in this historical hotel. The onsen was fantastic and we loved the traditional tatami room. The location is superb as everything is within walking distance, even the bus station going to the mountains or to nearby visiting sights. The staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was delicious.
Nothing we didn't like, to be fair.
